Everything from simple setups to general seasonal maintenance, ALL instruments need love from time to time. Living in the Northcountry can be brutal on instruments, especially the acoustics. Many times people dont even realize HOW well their instrument can play with some care and a proper setup.

About

Ed began his journey working for a well known music store chain located in the Pacific Northwest way back in the late 80s. Sales progressed into light repairs and maintenance of stock instruments. From there, he worked at a guitar parts manufaturing company in the 90s that sold replacement necks and bodies throughout the world. Ed returned to the original music store as their full time repair technician in the early 2000s. When he returned back home to New York, Ed began Cox Guitar Repair in 2003. After a couple years, Matt at Saratoga Guitar in Saratoga Springs, NY needed a repair tech that knew sales, so Ed worked at SG for many years until 2018 when he re-opened his dedicated home repair shop, where he continues to make magic...

Currently, the new shop has been operational and is coming along wonderfully. Many new and exciting things to come!
