And further y s Chief Justice Jamison did then and there (upon the motion of M Henry Vernon Practitioner of law challenging the array to a pannel of A Jury returned by Samuel Gouldy Coroner of the county afores he the s Sam Gouldy being of the people called Quakers.

1716 "Samuel Goldy, coroner of Burlington during court proceedings, was rather outspoken - surprising due to him being a Quaker"

This is, at this time, the only documentation we have of any mention to a Goldy being a Quaker.
