THE WEIGHTLOSS WORKSHOP is a 6-month program of specialized and individualized weight loss consultation. Contrary to the quick fix TV adds, my belief is that obesity is a chronic condition that can be managed over time, but not cured.
Working closely with a professional allows an individual to bypass the strong urges to eat tempting, but fattening food and instead make healthy, yet tasty food choices. This shift takes place over time. Repetition and reinforcement are key to success.
Proper food choice can create a feeling of satiety. Learning this “secret” and implementing it can ease the struggle of weight loss.
Many people turn to food to deal with stress or uncomfortable feelings. The WeightLossWorkshop encourages clients to find other coping strategies to use in those challenging moments. Nancy has 35 years of teaching others the strategies of behavior change and can match those strategies to a particular client’s personality and needs.
