38 Bust - 24 Waist

This jacket corsage forms part of a combination costume of plain gray serge with black, white  and gray plaid wool.  The cut-away fronts meet on the bust only, opening with revers above and sloping outward below from a plaid vest.  The revers are faced with plaid goods, and the cuffs and the front part of the collar are plaid.  The back has a long square postilion.

The jacket illustrated is made of flannel with grouped fine stripes in several colors on a white ground.  It has a vest of the flannel trimmed with a plastron and bands of dark red velvet and a velvet collar, cuffs and postilion.

The spring jacket illustrated is of dark blue velvet finished cloth made with cut-away fronts which open on a vest of dark blue repped silk that is trimmed witha bag plastron of the same silk.

The model illustrated is a tight-fitting jacket of dark brown diagonal, with a stitched braid binding at the edges.  It has a narrow overlapping piece on the front and is buttoned to one side with a single row of medium sized pearl buttons.
