38 Bust - 25 Waist

This very rich and elegant evening gown was of emerald green velvet combined with pale pink clouded moiré.  The entire bodice, a slashed basque, was of velvet, while the velvet is confined to the narrow tablier and the train, both of which are embroidered in gold and green silk.

Pale cream white satin and brocaded white satin were combined in the skirt of this gown, while the bodice consists of a sharply pointed corselet of brocade over a guimpe of white chiffon, with puffed sleeves and basque of chiffon with lace epaulettes.

In the model, this gown was of pale yellow silk and golden brown velvet.  Velvet sash ends with fringed and embroidered ends were added to the back of the skirt.  The neck was trimmed with a chiffon ruche, and the vest is festooned with gilt beads caught under small yellow choux.
