Bedford cord in beige and white cords was used to make this frock, with cream lace for the belt and forearms and green ribbon for neck and shoulder knots.  The skirt is feather stitched with green silk above the hem and the top is gathered and joined to the waist.

Brown mixed wool, with gilt braid and gilt buttons, was the material of the frock illustrated.  The skirt is lined with cambric and gathered to the waist with a belt with a gilt buckle covering the junction.

This little frock was of white serge, with a border of Russian embroidery in cross stitch done in gray-blue silk around the skirt and on the cuffs.  Diagram for cross stitch included.

The suit illustrated was made of blue and white striped tennis flannel, with yoke, belt and bands of fined striped blue and white flannel, edged with narrow red braid that is feather stitched with white crewel.
