for Traveling, Riding, & Bicycling
Multi-Size - 34-56 Bust - 22-44 Waist
This is an easy, comfortable corset for
traveling, riding, bicycling or outdoor pursuits in general. It has
open sides capable of being expanded by three elastic bands inserted as
illustrated, and an elastic band is at the lower edge of the front.
The front is fastened with elastic loops and buttons instead of corset
clasps; the back is laced as usual. The model was made
of white linen drill.

1893 Dress
w/Coat Bodice & Adjustable Vest
42 Bust - 34 Waist
This adjustable bodice for a matron is
made with a coat back and shorter jacket front opening on a vest that is
gathered to a velvet yoke. In the model, the gown was made of dark
blue serge and velvet, with fawn colored bengaline for the vest and revers.
The skirt is draped in a few folds on the hips and is trimmed around the
bottom with nine narrow bias rolls of velvet, set on in three groups of
three rows each. Pattern consists of plastron, vest, jacket and skirt.
