The costume illustrated was of fawn covert cloth, relieved by some velvet of a darker shade of brown on the jacket.  It consists of a skirt to wear with silk waists and a sack shaped jacket.

The costume illustrated was of gray striped tweed, relieved by stitch bands of plain darker gray cloth.  It consists of a skirt, separate vest to wear with a linen chemisette, and a jacket.
