About
Nā Makani Growers is an integrated agricultural operation on Molokaʻi's dry west end, where the trade winds sweep across acres of ancient kiawe woodland. We produce premium monofloral kiawe honey and cultivate heritage Hawaiian sweet potato varieties using traditional dryland farming methods — the same techniques that sustained communities on this land for centuries before Western contact.
What We Grow
White, naturally crystallizing monofloral honey from Molokaʻi's extensive kiawe forests. Harvested from varroa-free colonies in one of the most isolated apiaries in Hawaiʻi.
Now ProducingPre-contact Hawaiian sweet potato cultivars grown in restored dryland field systems. We're working to preserve varieties that were carried across the Pacific by the earliest Polynesian voyagers.
Pilot SeasonConservation earthworks for water harvesting, dairy sheep integration, fodder hedgerows, and beeswax products — building toward a fully self-sustaining operation.
