Thanks to another cousin, Eleanor Goldy Guear for the information on Goldy Avenue
The Farm once owned by Benjamin Goldy 1819-1897, the son of Corlies Goldy and Rachel Morton who owned 80 acres adjacent to this street. It was later sold to the Kuser family after his death. The Kuser family bought the farm from Benjamin's widow Jane Ann Barber Goldy. The Kusers, a very wealthy family, built their summer home on the property, their main home being in NYC. It is now known as Kuser Farm Park. The mansion that is in Kuser Farm Park was not the Goldy family's home. Benjamin and Jane's home is at another location on the 80 acres. We have not nailed down the exact house as yet. Benjamin Goldy was a township councilman in 1876.
