Master Built Carpentrywas founded in 1983 by Edward Belleck and John Solensky and based in Royal Oak, Michigan. With 35 years of combined experience, Ed and John had clear goals to provide clients with high quality craftsmanship, timely work completion and exceptional customer relationships. These are still our company goals today. Mr. Belleck retired in 1997.

John Solensky
I am owner and President of Master Built Carpentry Inc., and have been in the construction business for 46 years. I began my career at a young age as a laborer, then carpenter apprentice with this same company. I attended Oakland Community College, and worked as a journeyman carpenter and sheet metal worker for local construction companies. I worked as a Construction Superintendent for a home builder for five years. There I met Ed Belleck who was also a Superintendent. In 1983 became business partners. I am a master carpenter, cabinet maker and fine woodworker who is personally involved in all phases of the job. I pride myself in having strong project management skills.and an eye for detail. I enjoy working in all phases of a project, and seeing the transformation from beginning to finish. Outside of work he spends time with his wife and two son's. As a hobby raises and trains pedigreed hunting dogs.
