Seattle

We arrived at our port of departure and it was immediately evident that the sunshine followed us from LA giving way to great photo ops.

With only a few hours available in Seattle, we walked through Pikes Market and some of downtown Seattle. We couldn't resist kicking off our vacation with dinner at the top of the Space Needle, a rotating restaurant, as the sun was setting.  The food was excellent and the scenery beautiful.

Friendly people, photogenic buildingscape and silly children (and silly Grandparents)- what more can one ask for?
