Marx - Johnny West

Johnny and Thunderbolt - when I saw him on ebay I couldn't stop smiling.  I'd completely forgotten about him and can only assume I may have played with him before Action Man.

His little gold bags clinched it for me and when I received him I just had to laugh.  So here he is.  How many of you remember him too?  Click the photo and take a closer look at him and my other Marx figures.

Buying vintage, collectable Action Man figures is one thing - however rare they are now and however much I like them, they were mass produced.  Dragon figures are current, mass produced figures - aimed at the collector's market, excellent detail but still mass produced.  Both Action Man and Dragon reproduce in their various ways many uniforms and outfits from all over the world - only a few of them British and none of them reflecting the full extent of Britain's efforts during WWII.

So, how about something that's built to order, hand made, exclusive and totally dedicated to capture what Britain was doing during the war.
