any time.
Sec.
2. Duties of Stewards shall be:
(a)
To have a copy of the IBEW Constitution, these
bylaws and the working agreement with them
at all times.

and all workers at their respective shop or
jobs have paid up dues receipts or valid working
cards of the Local Union.

jurisdiction of the Local Union.
(d)
To report to the Business Manager any violation
of the bylaws or agreements.

Sec.
3. Stewards shall in no case cause
a stoppage of work. In case of any trouble
on a job or at a shop, Stewards shall immediately

NOTE 1: When a local
union does not have a Business Manager, the President
assumes the duties of Business Manager. Stewards
normally report to the Business Manager; and in
the absence of a Business Manager, they report to
the Acting Business Manager who is the President
of the local union.
NOTE 2: Stewards
may not be elected; they must be appointed
by the Business Manager. Provisions may be
made in Section 1 for work groups to recommend
Stewards for appointment by the Business Manager.
